I’ve had such a good few days at Clare’s just chilling and enjoying the beautiful weather. I’m not sure why she puts up with me, but I feel really lucky right now to get to spend this much time with her. I’m happy. We popped out today and I stocked up on sweets and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection which I’ve been craving for a few months now.

When I first started this blog about three years ago I was never really sure what direction I was taking it in, I didn’t know whether to focus it solely around my photographic work, make it personal, or just have the usual Tumblr of re-blogging photos of things I like. Over those three years it’s kind of become a weird mash of all three and I’ve started to find it pretty frustrating. So I decided to make a change and use my blog to focus harder on my photography with features and what I’m getting up to within various forms of automotive culture I work (e.g. Driftworks) and enjoy in, while still throwing the odd bit of personal bit and the odd thing I find on the internet. I’ve added a few new pages to the website as well, there’s a SCANS section where I’ll be uploading scans from old Drift Tengoku and other Japanese magazines over time. There’s also the FRIENDS & INSPIRATIONS section which is full of links to my friends blogs and other websites I get inspiration from.

Since I got back from Japan it’s been roughly six months since I picked up my DSLR Nikon and actually shot anything. I’ve been shooting on 35mm film now and again, but the level of photography I’ve done has been next to nothing compared to what it used to be. My Nikon’s had a hard life, and in all honestly I really need a new camera. It’s falling to bits, most of my lenses are broken, and shooting with it is a hit and miss affair; but buying a brand new camera at the moment is financially impossible unless someone wants to throw a few grand at me. So for the time being so I’ve decided to make do with the battered remains of a D60 I have and attempt to get myself out there more. Today I got a chance to see if I still had any ability left in the form of a little photoshoot with a friend of mine’s stunning JZX90 Toyota Cresta.

Seeing as my Tumblr dashboard is just filled with 326POWER tonight, here’s me looking like a dick and being a fangirl at the shop. I’ll get around to posting up some photos I shot there sometime later in the year.

Just digging through some old phone photos from the Outsiders trip. Forgot I got to have a little nosy around Nakamura’s D-MAX D1 S15.

Much meat was consumed and many laughs were had. I ate two 8oz burgers. I’m dying.
